Manama: The Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA) has inaugurated the fifth edition of the Ambassadors' Majlis, a program organized during Ramadhan that embodies Bahrain's tradition of hosting majlises and promoting engagement throughout the holy month.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative allows diplomats to engage with accredited ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain, offering them insights from the ambassadors' experiences and a chance to learn about their diplomatic careers directly.
Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director-General of MBMA, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to host ambassadors at the academy's majlis. She reiterated the academy's dedication to fostering constructive diplomatic dialogue and enhancing connections with representatives from allied and friendly nations.
This year's edition featured presentations by three ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain: Reham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, Ambassador of Egypt; Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the US; and Tatjana Garcevic, Ambassador of Serbia. They provided their perspectives and shared their extensive diplomatic experiences with the attendees.
The program witnessed extensive participation, with over 350 diplomats and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attending either in person or via live broadcast, highlighting the ongoing success of the Ambassadors' Majlis.
