Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its support for a recently announced roadmap aimed at resolving the crisis in the southern Syrian province of As-Suwayda. This agreement was jointly formulated by the Syrian Arab Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the United States of America.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the roadmap as a significant measure that could help consolidate civil peace and enhance security and stability in the region. The Ministry emphasized Bahrain's steadfast stance in supporting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic. It also reiterated Bahrain's backing for both regional and international efforts to secure peace and stability in the region, aligning with the aspirations of the Syrian people for stability and sustainable development under lawful governance.
