LMRA CEO Discusses Labour Market Cooperation with Nepalese Ambassador

Manama: Nebras Talib, CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Trafficking in Persons, received Tirtha Raj Wagle, Ambassador of Nepal to Bahrain. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and discussing Bahrain's efforts to improve the labour environment while safeguarding the rights of all parties involved.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the LMRA CEO highlighted Bahrain's initiatives aimed at ensuring a well-regulated labour market. These initiatives are designed to protect workers' rights and support a thriving labour environment. Talib discussed the importance of cooperation between diplomatic missions and government entities to educate expatriate workers about compliance with local laws and regulations.

The meeting underscored the need for diplomatic missions to collaborate with the Bahraini government in promoting awareness among expatriate workers. This includes encouraging the use of official communication channels for any inquiries, thereby fostering a better understanding of the labour laws.
