LMRA CEO Discusses Bilateral Ties with New Thai Ambassador

Manama: Nabras Mohammed Talib, Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, received Sumate Chulajata, the newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to Bahrain. Talib underscored the significance of the solid bilateral relations between Bahrain and Thailand, emphasizing the crucial role diplomatic missions play in bolstering government efforts to educate migrant workers about their rights and responsibilities, thereby fostering a work environment that protects the interests of all involved parties.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Talib also addressed the Kingdom's continuous endeavors to improve the labour environment and the innovative initiatives launched to achieve these goals. He reiterated Bahrain's dedication to enhancing collaboration with various partners to regulate the labour market in accordance with international best practices, and he extended his best wishes to Ambassador Chulajata in his new diplomatic position.
