Legal Affairs Minister Engages in National Tree Week to Support Afforestation Goals

Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs, participated in Tree Week activities by planting trees at Al Andalus Park.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative supports Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035. This endeavor is part of the Kingdom's broader vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. The initiative also seeks to raise environmental awareness, promote eco-friendly practices, and encourage practical solutions to preserve natural resources across various sectors.
