Legal Affairs and Human Rights Director meets Executive Vice President of Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington


Washington, Ambassador Dr. Yousef Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, met with Ambassador William Roebuck, Executive Vice President of the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington.

Dr. Bucheeri reviewed the human rights achievements in light of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the development projects under the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The meeting also discussed prominent initiatives of the National Plan for Human Rights (2022-2026), and the Kingdom’s achievements in combating human trafficking, and maintaining its first-class ranking in the US State Department’s Trafficking in Persons Report for six consecutive years.
