Beirut: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Lebanon, Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, as he presented his credentials in a formal ceremony. Ambassador Sayyar will be residing in Damascus during his tenure.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Sayyar conveyed the regards of Bahrain's leadership, including His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The ambassador expressed a desire to enhance the longstanding ties between Lebanon and Bahrain, aiming to serve the mutual interests of both countries.
In response, President Aoun extended his greetings and best wishes to Bahrain's King and Crown Prince. He expressed gratitude for Bahrain's ongoing support and wished for the kingdom's continued growth and success. President Aoun also emphasized the strong relationship between the two nations and wished Ambassador Sayyar success in his new role.
