LANA Director General: A promising future for Russian-African relations in information field.

Director General of the Libyan News Agency, Ibrahim Hadiya Al-Majbri, has stressed that the future of African-Russian relations in the information sphere is promising, noting that the African continent is witnessing rapid growth in the technology and communications sector, and its dependence on the Internet and social media is increasing. .

This came during his participation in the media forum accompanying the “Russia-Africa” summit, which was held Thursday in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Al-Majbri stressed that the Arab-African countries play an important role in creating a multi-polar information world, pointing out that these countries have rich cultures, languages and history and are an important source of information and knowledge, as well as an area of strategic importance to many other countries.

Al-Majbri called for strengthening cooperation between Russia and African countries in anticipating risks and investing in innovations in technology and communication, in addition to contributing to the development of the information world and strengthening its role in international relations.
