Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, attended the signing of a partnership agreement between the Board of Directors of the "Lamea" National Project and Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH). The agreement was formalized by Shaikha Dhuwa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairperson of Lamea, and Shadi Zahran, CEO of KFH.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Tawfiqi highlighted the consistent success of the "Lamea" National Project across its various editions, establishing it as one of Bahrain's foremost national initiatives. The project is recognized for nurturing a creative Bahraini generation, equipping them to lead in multiple fields and supporting the Kingdom's development objectives.
The minister noted that Lamea embodies the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs. His Highness's vision charts an ambitious course for empowering youth academically, intellectually, and professionally, enabling them to be active participants in Bahrain's comprehensive development.
Minister Tawfiqi further stated that the partnership between Lamea and KFH exemplifies cooperation between the public and private sectors. It underscores the commitment of both parties to investing in the potential of Bahraini youth. She also acknowledged KFH's leading role in supporting national and community programs that contribute to the progress of Bahrain's youth movement.
Shaikha Dhuwa bint Khalid expressed pride in Lamea's achievements in developing exceptional Bahraini youths and reiterated the authority's commitment to forming partnerships that support their academic and professional growth. She remarked that the collaboration with KFH will enhance training programs and foster youth innovation.
