Manama: Aqeel Abdali Bu Hussain, Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Relations at the Ministry of Labour, attended the closing ceremony of the 8th Leadership Qualification and Development Conference, held under the theme "The Art of Leadership in Motivating Performance and Achieving Excellence". The conference discussed the importance of investing in national leaders and developing their abilities to keep pace with rapid changes in modern work environments, contributing to human resource development, the building of high-performance institutions, the enhancement of administrative and leadership competencies, and increased productivity and competitiveness in the labour market.
According to Bahrain News Agency, participants also reviewed the latest methodologies and international experiences in leadership and institutional management, as well as best leadership practices that enable organisations to adapt to crises, regional developments, and economic challenges and transform them into opportunities for growth and innovation, helping accelerate economic recovery and build a more sustainable future.
Bu Hussain honoured the speakers and supporting entities in recognition of their contributions to the success of the event, enriching its discussions, and supporting efforts to develop leadership competencies and promote a culture of institutional excellence, reinforcing Bahrain's position as a regional centre for training and leadership development. Several companies distinguished in human resources development were also honoured.
