Manama: The Ministry of Labour confirmed that it has not received any information regarding the presence of fake companies offering job vacancies or training opportunities through its online platform. The ministry emphasised that all listed companies are licensed, operational establishments conducting their activities in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this statement follows the ministry's public call through various channels to report any information or evidence about fake job or training offers on its online platform, including personal experiences during the Virtual Employment and Training Exhibition. The ministry asked that company names and any related documents or details be submitted for review.
The ministry underscored its ongoing commitment to ensuring the integrity of procedures related to job postings aimed at employing citizens in the private sector. It expressed readiness to take the necessary steps for continuous improvement and development to meet its goals of preparing job seekers and integrating them into suitable private sector opportunities.
The Ministry also noted its close cooperation with relevant authorities to verify that all companies posting vacancies on its virtual employment platform are legally registered and operational.
