Kuwait, Kuwait witnessed a power outage due to a surge in peak summer demand for electricity and sweltering summer conditions, where temperatures have risen higher than normal levels.
The Ministry of Electricity and Water has taken pre-emptive steps, including brief interruptions of power, to keep stability in the national power grid, KUNA reported.
The ministry called on the public to limit consumption during peak hours, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
