Kuwait city: Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced on Friday that one of the country's power generation and water distillation plants had been attacked as a result of the criminal Iranian aggression against Kuwait, causing damage to the facility, igniting a fire and affecting a large number of electricity generation units.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the attack prompted the immediate activation of emergency plans to contain its impact and maintain the stability of the national electricity grid.
The ministry said Kuwait Fire Force teams responded immediately to the incident and successfully brought the fire under control, while technical teams, in coordination with the relevant authorities, began implementing the necessary precautionary measures to assess the damage and restore the affected generation units to service, while ensuring the highest standards of safety and security.
