MAKKAH, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Al-Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Kuwaiti Pilgrimage mission Dr. Bader Al-Mutairi assured on Saturday the successful movement of Kuwaitis pilgrims from Mount Arafat to Muzdalifa.
Dr. Al-Mutairi told KUNA that the smooth movement of pilgrims came after effective meetings and coordination between Kuwait’s pilgrimage mission and the Saudi authorities.
He stated that 5,800 pilgrims used Al Mashaer train to Muzdalifa, while 2600 went by buses.
Dr. Al-Mutairi received a phone call today from His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, expressing his appreciation for the tremendous efforts of Kuwait’s pilgrimage mission to ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims.
