Kuwait city: Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, received Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). They discussed ways to strengthen joint efforts to advance the collective Gulf cooperation process and reviewed the agenda items for the upcoming 165th session of the GCC Ministerial Council, scheduled for early September. They also addressed preparations for the joint Gulf ministerial meetings set to take place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also included an exchange of views on the latest regional and international developments. The discussions underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing challenges and opportunities facing the Gulf region. The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to enhance coordination among GCC member states in various fields.
