Kuwaiti Firefighters Continue Efforts to Contain Airport Fuel Tank Blaze


Kuwait city: The Kuwait Fire Force announced that its teams, supported by Kuwaiti military and National Guard firefighting units, are actively working to control a blaze caused by a drone attack on a fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier Mohammad Al Ghareeb, spokesman for the Kuwait Fire Force, stated during a media briefing that firefighters are addressing four separate fires across the airport. These fires have been triggered by falling debris from air defense interceptions.



Brigadier Al Ghareeb also noted that the firefighters have responded to 82 emergency calls related to the ongoing Iranian aggression against Kuwait. These calls include incidents of falling debris and direct drone attacks.



He urged for maximum alertness and advised the public to avoid areas with potential blazes resulting from falling debris, emphasizing the significant danger posed to human lives. The official highlighted that hotline 112 is operational round the clock to provide immediate assistance.
