Kuwaiti Crown Prince Meets Bahraini Foreign Minister in New York


New york: His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, met with Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, at his residence in New York. The meeting was attended by Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and took place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.



According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait expressed his admiration for the longstanding relations between Kuwait and Bahrain. He conveyed his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, wishing them good health and prosperity for their country.



Dr. Al Zayani reciprocated by delivering the greetings and appreciation from His Majesty the King of Bahrain and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, and the Kuwaiti Crown Prince. The Bahraini leaders also extended their best wishes for Kuwait’s continued development and prosperity.



The meeting featured friendly discussions that highlighted the strong ties between the two nations and their mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation across various fields for the benefit of both countries and their citizens.



The meeting was also attended by Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United States; Jamal Fares Al Ruwaiei, Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York; Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Saeed Abdulkhaliq, Chief of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
