Kuwait city: The Kuwait National Guard announced that its forces shot down a hostile drone at one of the locations where the Guard provides support to the Ministry of Defence.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the National Guard stated that this action is part of ongoing efforts to enhance security, protect vital facilities, and address potential threats.
The National Guard emphasized the full readiness of its forces, in cooperation with the army, police, and Kuwait Fire Force, to respond immediately to any threats and counter attempts to undermine the country's security. This approach aims to safeguard Kuwait's sovereignty, stability, and national interests.
Additionally, the National Guard urged citizens and residents to follow safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
