Kuwait National Guard Downs 46 Drones, Six UAVs Amid Iran Assault

Kuwait city: Kuwait's National Guard (KNG) announced that it had downed 46 drones and six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) since the start of the Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadhel, KNG spokesman, provided updates during a news briefing on the latest field developments. He detailed that the explosive ordnance disposal unit at the engineering battalion managed 42 reports of missile remnants and fragments at various locations since the onset of the aggression. This effort has been instrumental in enhancing public safety and protecting lives and property, as reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Brigadier General Dr. Fadhel reassured citizens and residents that readings are normal in Kuwait's airspace and territorial waters. He further emphasized that the Sheikh Salem Al Ali Centre for Chemical Defence and Radiological Monitoring at the National Guard is on full readiness around the clock, utilizing land and maritime monitoring stations.
