Kuwait Ministry of Health Reports One Death, 32 Injuries Amid Regional Developments

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Health of the State of Kuwait announced today the registration of one death and the admission of 32 injury cases, all of foreign nationality, through the emergency department at Al Adan Hospital, as part of the medical response to ongoing regional developments.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad, the official spokesperson for the Ministry, stated that 15 patients were transferred to Jaber Hospital to receive specialised medical care, while five patients underwent surgical procedures in the operating rooms at Al Adan Hospital. The remaining cases continue to receive medical monitoring and treatment.

Dr. Al Sanad noted that the nature of the injuries varied, including chest, head, and abdominal trauma, as well as multiple fractures, emphasizing that all patients are receiving care in line with approved treatment protocols. He also highlighted that the Ministry managed 12 cases on Saturday, distributed across Farwaniya Hospital (9 cases), Jahra Hospital (2 cases), and Mubarak Hospital (1 case).

The Ministry reaffirmed the ongoing readiness of emergency and intensive care departments, as well as continued coordination across medical and administrative sectors, to ensure rapid response and the delivery of medical care amid the current developments.
