Kuwait Intercepts 2 Ballistic Missiles, 13 Drones and Reports Two Sustain Minor Injuries

Kuwait city: Colonel Staff Saud Al Atwan, official spokesman for the Ministry of Defence of the State of Kuwait, announced that the Kuwaiti armed forces, over the past 24 hours, successfully detected and intercepted two hostile ballistic missiles and 13 drones within Kuwaiti airspace, in light of the current developments and the Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Colonel Al Atwan explained during a media briefing to review the latest field developments that two minor injuries were recorded as a result of falling interception debris, confirming that both are in stable condition, while no significant material damage was reported.

He added that the Explosives Inspection and Disposal Unit efficiently handled eight reports during the same period in accordance with established procedures, stressing that members of the military and security institutions in Kuwait believe in the country's resilience and its ability to confront all attacks targeting its stability and the cohesion of its people.
