Kuwait Electricity Ministry: Brutal Iranian Attack Hits Power, Water Distillation Facility, Kills Indian Worker

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced on Sunday that a service building at one of the power and water distillation plants was damaged in a brutal Iranian attack on the State of Kuwait, resulting in the death of a worker of Indian nationality.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry's spokesperson Fatima Jawhar Hayat stated that technical and emergency teams have immediately dealt with the repercussions of the incident in line with the approved emergency plan.

Hayat emphasized the continuation of operation efficiency, in parallel with full coordination with security authorities and the relevant bodies to ensure the damaged sites.

She urged the public to remain calm, avoid being influenced by rumors, and seek information from official sources, affirming that they would continue to monitor developments with transparency.

Hayat reiterated that the safety and stability of the electricity and water system are a top priority and that all technical teams are working around the clock to handle any potential emergency and ensure the continuity of vital services.
