Kuwait Defence Ministry Reports Detection of 17 Hostile Missiles in 24 Hours

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Defence of the State of Kuwait announced that air defense systems detected 17 hostile ballistic missiles within Kuwaiti airspace over the past 24 hours. Thirteen of these missiles were intercepted and destroyed, while four fell outside threat zones without posing danger.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, Spokesperson of the Ministry, stated that the interception operations resulted in debris falling in several areas. This caused limited material damage to some homes and disruptions to parts of the power grid, but no casualties were reported.

Col. Al Atwan also reported the detection of 13 hostile drones. Ten of these drones were destroyed, while three fell outside threat zones without causing harm. He affirmed the readiness and resilience of Kuwait's armed forces in safeguarding the country's security and sovereignty amid ongoing developments.
