Kuwait Condemns Renewed Iranian Drone Attacks Targeting Bahrain

Manama: The State of Kuwait strongly condemned the renewed Iranian drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain for the second consecutive day.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks caused material damage to civilian facilities and described them as a blatant violation of Bahrain's sovereignty and a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The ministry stressed that Iran's continued targeting of Bahrain represents a dangerous escalation that could undermine efforts aimed at de-escalation and reducing tensions, while destabilizing regional security and stability, in clear violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

Kuwait reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its support for all measures undertaken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. It also affirmed that Bahrain's security is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
