Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has issued a strong condemnation of the recent drone attack on the East-West oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh and Madinah regions. This attack, originating from Iraqi territory, resulted in injuries and property damage, as reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait labeled the attack a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law. The ministry emphasized the threat posed to the security of energy supplies and described the attack as a dangerous escalation that could destabilize regional security and stability.
The Kuwaiti ministry called upon the Iraqi government to take necessary measures to prevent its territory from being used for launching such attacks in the future. It stressed the importance of preventing recurrence and ensuring regional peace.
Kuwait reiterated its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, expressing support for all actions taken by the Kingdom to protect its sovereignty, security, stability, and interests.
