Manama: His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, and President Abdulfattah Al Sisi of Egypt chaired official bilateral talks in Kuwait on Tuesday. The discussions were attended by key figures including His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, and Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, Acting Prime Minister, along with senior officials from both nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, stated that the discussions concentrated on enhancing cooperation across various sectors and strengthening the bilateral ties between Kuwait and Egypt. The talks also included an exchange of views on Arab unity and regional developments.
The leaders placed particular emphasis on the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, discussing ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire and facilitate urgent humanitarian assistance. Additionally, support for the Palestinian people's aspiration to establish an independent state and efforts to reconstruct Gaza were significant points of discussion during the meeting.
