KUNA, KFAS Chiefs Discuss Enhancing Scientific Coordination.

Kuwait City: Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Dr. Fatmah Al-Salem held talks on Thursday with Dr. Amina Farhan, her counterpart at Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), on cooperation between the news agency and the scientific establishment. Dr. Al-Salem emphasized the importance of the foundation's role in promoting scientific culture and innovative technology in Kuwait. According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Al-Salem highlighted KFAS's contribution to supporting scientific research and the development of national resources, which are essential for sustainable development. She affirmed KUNA's commitment to highlighting activities and initiatives that enhance scientific awareness and promote research, knowledge, and innovation in the country. Dr. Farhan discussed KFAS's efforts to create a stimulating environment for scientific and technological innovation, which is vital for sustainable development. This includes empowering national cadres and enhancing their scientific capacitie s. The foundation also supports national media personnel by involving KUNA's staff in specialized training courses organized in collaboration with foreign universities. Both parties agreed to activate direct coordination mechanisms to facilitate media coverage of scientific initiatives and projects at the national level.
