Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the Iranian missile attacks that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, citing these actions as a violation of sovereignty, security, and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, these missile attacks posed a significant threat to the safety and lives of civilians and residents and demonstrated a disregard for international law and norms. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain commended the effectiveness of the air defense systems of Bahrain and the other affected Arab states, which managed to intercept and down several missiles, although some did strike certain sites and facilities.
The Ministry affirmed that the armed forces in these states are fully prepared to deter any future attacks that threaten the security and safety of the Arab states and violate their sovereignty. It called upon the international community to condemn the aggression and take decisive action to halt such hostile acts that endanger civilians.
Furthermore, the Ministry reiterated that these states reserve the right to respond and take necessary measures to protect their sovereignty, security, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
