Manama:His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, during his visit to Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. During the discussions, King Hamad expressed Bahrain's pride in its strong and longstanding ties with Kuwait, emphasizing the mutual commitment to enhance these bonds across various sectors.
Sheikh Fahad conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, and extended best wishes for Bahrain's continued development and prosperity. In response, King Hamad requested that Sheikh Fahad relay his greetings and best wishes to the Amir and the Kuwaiti people for ongoing progress and prosperity.
King Hamad highlighted the contributions of the Amir in supporting the Bahrain-Kuwait relationship and praised Kuwait's supportive positions towards Bahrain and its efforts in promoting joint Gulf cooperation. He also stressed the importance of ongoing consultation and coordination between Bahrain and Kuwait, particularly in light of regional circumstances, to strengthen their ties further.
Sheikh Fahad expressed gratitude for the reception and hospitality extended by King Hamad, acknowledging His Majesty's dedication to fortifying Bahrain-Kuwait relations and commending Bahrain's leadership under King Hamad.
