King Hamad Global Center Chairman Meets Cypriot Foreign Minister in Nicosia

Nicosia: Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance, met with Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the High-Level International Conference on Coexistence and Religious Diversity and organised by the Centre in partnership with the Republic of Cyprus in the capital, Nicosia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to strengthening its close relations of friendship and cooperation with Cyprus. They discussed developing these relations across various domains in a manner that serves their shared interests and enhances their efforts to promote a culture of peace, support dialogue between religions and civilisations, and consolidate the values of coexistence and tolerance at the regional and international levels.

For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus expressed his appreciation for Bahrain's efforts and the role of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance in consolidating the values of dialogue, openness, and rapprochement among cultures. He affirmed his country's commitment to continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various domains.
