Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Friday departed for Italy to attend the G7 summit, at the invitation of Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
His Majesty is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of state and delegation on the sidelines of the summit.
His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
