The Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that the Holy Karbala Operations Command and the 17th Infantry Division are securing the return routes for pilgrims coming from the Holy Land.
A statement by the ministry stated that the commander of the Holy Karbala operations supervised the return of the pilgrims, who returned from the Holy Land, after performing the rituals of Hajj.
It continued, “The Operations Command has prepared a solid plan to secure the roads for their return, as the units were deployed along the transportation route, adding that the units of the Seventeenth Infantry Division command received the pilgrims returning from the Holy Land, and they were protected and escorted by a force from the leadership.”
