Kampti: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Kampti hosted the commune's constituted bodies during the monthly raising of the national colors, a ceremony marked by a tribute to teachers and the promotion of national languages.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, organized under the leadership of the president of the Special Delegation, was held on the first working Monday of the month. It assembled administrative and educational authorities, along with key stakeholders, to emphasize civic duty and social cohesion.
During the event, Mr. Eug¨ne Hien, the head of the Kampti Basic Education District, highlighted the significance of this year's event, coinciding with National Languages Week and the week dedicated to appreciating teachers. He noted that the ceremony was a valuable opportunity for the educational community to express gratitude towards teachers, who play a crucial role in citizen development.
Mr. Massahiba Aim© Soulama, prefect and president of the Kampti Special Delegation, praised the performance of the national anthem in the Moor© language and encouraged teachers to continue their efforts in promoting and enhancing national languages, which serve as vital elements of identity and social cohesion.
The ceremony concluded with a sense of solemnity and commitment, demonstrating the local authorities' aspiration to make schools centers of citizenship and the promotion of local values.
