Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments held its first regular meeting for 2025. The meeting was chaired by Dana Khamees Al Zayani, Assistant Undersecretary for Courts, Family Reconciliation and Alimony at the Ministry.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Zayani emphasized the ministry's commitment to promoting equal opportunities through various programs, including training, scholarships, career advancement, and committee membership, while addressing women's needs. The committee discussed updates on proposed programs in coordination with the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) and government entities to implement future plans.
The meeting also reviewed a proposal to increase training programs supporting gender balance efforts across the ministry.
