Former leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, on Wednesday expressed through his platform on “X” that “the Vatican’s initiative is not arbitrary but aims to emphasize dialogue, which is crucial at this critical juncture in Lebanon’s history and destiny.”
“Therefore, the boycott of Cardinal Pietro Parolin by certain religious and political factions is directed towards Pope Francis, an exceptional pontiff in Rome’s history,’ Jumblatt added.
