Mount Lebanon Appeals Prosecutor Ghada Aoun, wrote the following on her account on ‘X’ platform: ‘The revolution broke out because of 5 cent, and now there is $8 billion that entered from ‘Optimum’ to the Central Bank on something called the consulting account, and then we do not know where it was transferred.”
She added: “When I started investigating this matter, a fierce war was launched against me, but no action was taken to this end. We must find out where the $8 billion disappeared.”
