New delhi: His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan met Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), to discuss national and regional health priorities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting, held at Basman Palace, discussed means to expand cooperation between Jordan and the WHO in support of national health objectives and to strengthen mechanisms for responding to health challenges.
Regional developments were also addressed.
