Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II received Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions centered on the strong ties between Jordan and Qatar, and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of the Jordanian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee in achieving these goals.
The talks also addressed regional developments, highlighting the importance of maintaining coordination to serve mutual interests. Both parties emphasized the need to respect the sovereignty of Arab states and to achieve stability within the region.
