Jordan Secures Historic FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification

Amman: Jordan's national football team has secured qualification for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in its history, following a 3-0 victory over Oman in the Asian qualifiers.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the match was held at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat. All three goals were scored by Ali Alwan, completing a hat-trick that placed Jordan at the top of Group B with 16 points, ensuring qualification alongside South Korea.

Led by Moroccan coach Jamal Sellami, and with key contributions from players such as Musa Al Taamari and Yazan Al Naimat, the team's success marks a milestone achievement for Jordanian football. The qualification sparked widespread celebrations in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
