Jordan King Urges UK PM to Act on Israeli Attacks on Gaza

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone conversation with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, stressed the urgent need for the international community to intervene and halt Israel's assaults on Gaza, while advocating for the reinstatement of the ceasefire. His Majesty highlighted the risks posed by the ongoing attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank and the breaches of holy sites in Jerusalem.

According to Bahrain News Agency, King Abdullah also emphasized the necessity of resuming humanitarian aid into Gaza to address the critical humanitarian crisis. He reiterated Jordan's opposition to the displacement of Palestinians in both Gaza and the West Bank.

His Majesty further conveyed Jordan's backing for initiatives aimed at maintaining Syria's unity, sovereignty, and stability.
