Jordan conducts airdrops of humanitarian aid to south Gaza with Egypt’s participation

Amman, Jordan announced that its armed forces carried out three new airdrops of humanitarian aid to southern Gaza today, the first day of Eid Al Adha, in collaboration with Egypt.

The operation, executed by the Jordanian Armed Forces, aims to deliver more aid to the residents of Gaza, supplementing Jordan’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region, which affects the atmosphere of Eid Al Adha, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

The aid packages, dropped using two Royal Jordanian Air Force aircrafts and one Egyptian aircraft at various locations in southern Gaza, included relief and humanitarian supplies such as food, clothing, and sweets to support the residents suffering from the ongoing Israeli conflict.

The Jordanian Armed Forces affirmed their commitment to continuing the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid via an air bridge, using planes from Marka Airport to El Arish International Airport, airdrops to Gaza, or ground convoys, to help the residents of Gaza throu
gh their difficult circumstances.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the Jordanian Armed Forces have conducted 107 airdrops and 261 airdrops in cooperation with other nations.
