Manama: Jordan and the Republic of Burundi have formalized a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations aimed at strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two nations. The initiative seeks to institutionalize cooperation across various domains, including political, economic, social, cultural, and scientific areas.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the joint statement was signed by Ambassador Mahmoud Hamoud, the Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United Nations in New York, and Ambassador Zephyrin Maniratanga, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Burundi. This move marks a significant step towards enhancing bilateral ties and fostering collaboration in multiple sectors.
