Jordan Army Intercepts Iranian Missile Amid Rising Tensions

Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army announced on Wednesday that Iran had launched a missile targeting the Kingdom within the past 24 hours. The Royal Jordanian Air Force successfully intercepted and destroyed the missile before it could reach its intended destination inside Jordan.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Public Security Directorate reported that four incidents involving falling shrapnel and projectiles were handled by relevant units over the same period. No injuries were recorded from these incidents, although some material damage did occur.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate reiterated warnings against approaching or tampering with suspicious objects or shrapnel due to potential dangers. The public is advised to follow guidance and instructions disseminated through official channels.

Additionally, the spokesperson urged citizens to report any suspicious objects to security services via the emergency number 911. Emphasis was placed on the importance of adhering to official instructions, relying on information from verified sources, and avoiding the spread of rumors and misleading information.
