Jordan Armed Forces Intercept Two Missiles Targeting Kingdom Over Past 24 Hours

Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army announced that Iranian projectiles targeted Jordanian territory over the past 24 hours. According to the Military Media Directorate, the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and shot down two missiles heading towards locations inside the Kingdom.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Public Security Directorate spokesperson said specialised units responded to 17 reports involving falling debris and projectiles during the same period. The spokesperson added that two individuals were injured in Zarqa Governorate, describing their condition as moderate. Material damage was also reported, including to a house in Zarqa and a vehicle in Karak Governorate.

Authorities renewed warnings against approaching or handling suspicious objects or debris due to safety risks and urged the public to follow official instructions. The Public Security Directorate also called on the public to report any suspicious objects by contacting emergency services, emphasising the importance of relying on official sources for information.
