Jordan and US Discuss Military Cooperation

Amman: Major General Yousef Ahmed Al Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, met with General Michael Kurilla, Commander of U.S. Central Command USCENTCOM. The meeting reviewed efforts to enhance coordination on key defence matters, including joint training, intelligence sharing, and strategic planning.

According to Bahrain News Agency, they also discussed recent developments across the region and the importance of advancing cooperation in areas that serve the operational and strategic interests of both armed forces. Talks highlighted the strategic relationship between the two countries, with both sides emphasising the need for unified international efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
