Jordan and South Africa Explore Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Amman: The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan recently hosted a round of political consultations with the Republic of South Africa. The discussions were led by Majid Qatarneh, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of Jordan, and Candith Mashego-Dlamini, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Jordan and South Africa across several sectors, including economic, trade, investment, education, and tourism, with particular emphasis on religious tourism. Both nations expressed their commitment to ongoing cooperation and coordination on matters of mutual interest, pledged to exchange support for United Nations nominations, and agreed to monitor regional developments closely.
