Jordan and Germany Explore Enhanced Military Cooperation

Amman: Major General Yousef Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, met with General Carsten Breuer, Germany's Chief of Defence. The meeting focused on reviewing and enhancing bilateral relations and military cooperation between Jordan and Germany. Discussions covered topics such as defence industries, joint training, capacity-building, regional security, and improving collective readiness to address emerging challenges.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Maj. Gen. Hunaiti also engaged in talks with Boris Pistorius, the German Federal Minister of Defense. Minister Pistorius highlighted the historic relationship between the two nations and expressed Germany's commitment to maintaining close military cooperation with Jordan. He praised Jordan's significant role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in promoting regional security and stability.
