Joint Military Exercise “Rabdan Shuwaiman” Concludes Successfully with Bahrain and UAE Leaders in Attendance


Manama: The joint Bahrain-UAE military exercise “Rabdan Shuwaiman” concluded successfully, marking a significant milestone in the defense cooperation between the two nations. The event was graced by the presence of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the exercise involved the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the Hamad bin Isa Airborne Brigade of the UAE Presidential Guard. It aimed to fortify the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE, advancing their strategic partnership and ongoing military cooperation. The focus was on raising combat readiness and developing joint operational and tactical capabilities.



The exercise featured field drills and joint operations that concentrated on planning, execution, air support, and airborne landing procedures. These activities showcased a high level of professionalism, coordination, and commitment from both forces.



The leadership of both countries praised the positive outcomes of the “Rabdan Shuwaiman” exercise, highlighting the deep-rooted ties and their shared dedication to bolstering military cooperation. This collaboration is expected to enhance the capabilities of the participating units, contributing significantly to the security and stability in the region.
