Jiu-Jitsu Asian Union Appoints Two Bahrainis as Chairmen

Manama: The Jiu-Jitsu Asian Union (JJAU) has appointed Ahmed Janahi, Deputy Chairman of the Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation, as Chairman of the Ethics Commission and Dr. Ahmed Al Aradi as Chairman of the Medical Commission.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the appointments were announced during the General Assembly of the JJAU, which was chaired by Redha Ibrahim Monfaredi, President of the Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation. Monfaredi was also elected as the First Vice President of the Jiu-Jitsu Asian Union.

The selection of Ahmed Janahi and Dr. Ahmed Al Aradi for these key positions highlights their significant expertise in jiu-jitsu, contributing to the sport's development at national and continental levels. Monfaredi emphasized that these appointments underline the Kingdom of Bahrain's standing in the continental and international sporting arenas, showcasing the country's wealth of qualified national professionals for leadership roles in sports federations.

Monfaredi further noted that such appointments enhance the reputation of Bahraini talent and their administrative and athletic expertise, contributing to achieving ambitions and aspirations while increasing success and excellence.
