Manama: The Jaafari Endowments Council held an event to mark Bahraini Women's Day 2025, this year under the theme "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation." Yousef bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council, highlighted the achievements of Bahraini women under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), commending the designation of December 1 each year as Bahraini Women's Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Chairman highlighted the distinguished role of Bahraini women across all domains of national work, noting their dedication and significant contributions to societal development and the enhancement of values. He said they have been essential partners in national development and nation-building, setting an example of responsible giving and a generous spirit.
He also noted their role in promoting solidarity, supporting endowment and social initiatives, contributing to public service, and engaging in voluntary work. He said that the Council is committed to enhancing the professional and social standing of female employees, supporting continued academic studies, and encouraging participation in professional development programmes and training initiatives to strengthen their capabilities and empower them to perform their roles with confidence and competence.
